Avenged Sevenfold의 "Life Is But A Dream..."은 태생적으로 논란을 일으킬 수 밖에 없는 앨범이다. 일부 팬들은 이를 싫어했고, 다른 일부는 이 변화를 받아들였다. 나는 후자에 속한다. 매우 다양한 트랙들이 있기에 혼란을 야기 시키기도 하지만 동시에 아름답고 예술적이다. 삶과 죽음을 다루는 이 앨범의 아이디어는 정말 잘 어우러져 있다. 각 곡은 마치 다른 앨범에서 나온 것처럼 느껴지지만, 전체를 잘 들어보면 이상하게도 완벽하게 어우러지는 것 같다.
