진중한 멜로디가 뇌속을 꿰뚫는듯한 느낌의 Insomnium 데뷔작으로 핀란드 멜데스에서 또 하나의 희망이 됩니다. 멜데스에는, 속된말로 화려한 멜로디로 떡칠하다시피하는 방향이 있고, 정말 넣은듯 안넣은듯 짤막한 멜로디 토막리프만 은은하게 사용하는 방향이 있는데, 본작은 최대한 그중간에 있으려고하는 사운드를 가지고 있습니다. 참 서정적인 멜데스입니다.

Insomnium은 시작부터 남달랐다. 이후 앨범들에 비하면 Insomnium만의 색이 잘 드러난 것은 아니지만 그래도 매우 훌륭한 멜로디들이 돋보인다.

인섬니움의 데뷔작. 이후의 앨범들에비해 퀄리티는 살짝 떨어질수도있다 하지만 이후의 앨범들에 서정적인분위기와 이들만의 특색있는멜로디는 데뷔작부터 바로 나왔다 특히 마지막트랙은 눈시울을 붉힐정도...
