데뷔작보다 잘다듬어진 퀄리티의 두번째 작. 기승전결을 깔끔하고 유려하게 이끌기위해 고심한 흔적들이 고스란히 느껴집니다. 애상적이며 우수에 젖은 은은한 멜로디들이 주재료로, 화려하거나 중독성있는 멜로디와는 거리가 멉니다. 또 질주감은 제로에 가까우며, 시종일관 동일한 템포로 진행합니다. 너무 건조해도 재미없는데 계속 촉촉해도 재미는 없네요.

물흐르듯이 자연스러운 전개가 일품이고,모든 곡들의 퀄리티가 일정 이상인데다가 전체적인 분위기와 사운드도 일관성 있게 유지된다. 다만 9번 트랙은 너무 긴 시간을 차지하는데다가 전개가 늘어지는 편이라 앨범 후반부의 구성을 깎아먹은 것 같다. 여담으로 레코딩 상태는 좀 아쉽긴 해도 음악에 해를 끼칠 정도는 아니다.

Love this album. The sporadic double-layered melodic lines using heavy and acoustic guitars at the same time are quite nice to hear. Awesome melodies they come up with too.

서정적인 멜데스를 들려주는 insomnium. 갠적으로 3집을 더 쳐주지만 2집도 충분히 명반이다. 프로그레시브적인 성향과 멜데스적인 성향을 잘 갖췄다.
