Good by Maiden.

데뷔 앨범의 경우 펑크적 요소가 많이 섞여 있었지만, 이 때부터는 점점 더 헤비메탈의 색체가 짙어 진다. 초기 헤비메탈에서 놓쳐서는 안되는 훌륭한 작품이라고 생각한다.

Strong record. For me personally, I always preferred Bruce, but you can't knock tracks like Wrathchild and Murders

이후의 유치한 멜로디 진행보다 날 것 그대로의 모습이 많이 남아있어서 꽤 괜찮게 들었다. 폴 디노 보컬이 갠적으로 브루스 디킨슨보다 더 취향이다

Killers라는 대표곡을 통해 향후 메이든의 방향성을 어느정도 엿볼 수 있는 음반. 아직은 정돈되지않은 듯한 사운드.

1집이 전체적인 느낌은 오히려 더 좋았다. 이 앨범을 듣다 보면 슬슬 사운드의 변화가 발동이 걸리기 시작하는 느낌이다. 앞 앨범은 그 전 시대의 사운드를 갖고 어찌 보면 익숙한 하드락의 맛이 있다면 이 앨범은 killers같은 트랙을 듣다 보면 자기 색이 더 확실해지고 있다는 생각도 같이 갖게 된다. 새삼스럽지만 에디 디자인은 좋다.

폴 다이아노 보컬도 죽여준다. 탄탄한 작곡들이 돋보이는 가운데 wrathchild, killers 라는 베스트외에 another life, innocent exile, drifter도 좋다.

2nd album by the mighty maiden. Its ok but there is too much glitter. Stil we do have Wratchild, Murders in the rue morgue, and Killers.

Wrathchild, Murders in the Rue Morgue, Killers 등 일부 곡은 감탄하면서 들었다. 본 앨범도 훌륭한 작품이라고 생각한다.

Killers, Wrathchild & Rue Morgue are my favorites from the album. Drifter is one of their weakest album closers. Another life, Innocent Exile & Drifer suffer from repetitive verses. This could be a semi-concept album as all songs seem to be related. Has better production than the debut album. This is slightly better than the debut (Even though I like Phantom of the Opera more than any song on this). But all the 80's Maiden albums that followed this are way better than this.

The last real street metal album by Maiden

폴디애노의 아이언 메이든도 충분히 멋지다고 생각이 든다. 오히려 90년 이후 rock 음악에서 더 선호하는 목소리에 가깝다. 3,4,5 집 앨범들에 비해 완성도가 떨어지는 느낌이 드는건 아마도 처음에 아이언 메이든 음악을 접할때 브루스 디킨스 보컬을 접했기 때문일 수도 있겠다. 펑크의 느낌이 있는 헤비메탈이라 지금 들어도 전혀 촌스럽지 않고 멋지다.

My most played album # 8. My 8th most played album! Iron Maiden - Killers. Some of the best albums never got any radio airplay, this is one fine example! I think the radio was afraid to play this one. Chickens! Wrathchild one of the best guitar riffs of all time with very high energy! Killers and Murders In The Rue Morgue great horror film style killer songs the first of a kind at the time, now a very copied theme! Rating albums from 1-10 I gave this album a 9.65!

트윈기타와 베이스로 오밀조밀 잘 짠 리프들로 똘똘뭉친 헤비메탈앨범..이지만 뭔가 부족하고 뭔가 아쉽습니다. 아직 펑크냄새가 남아있는 데뷔작과 헤비메탈 명반으로 칭송받는 다음작의 사이에 끼어서 그런지 애매한 느낌이 있습니다. 곡들의 편차가 없는것이 장점이자 단점입니다. 귀에 꽂히는 특출난 트랙이 없는 느낌이 짙습니다. 1번인트로는 꽤 멋집니다.

폴디아노는 1, 2, 11 번같은 스타일이 어울려요. 펑크하는게 더 나았을것 같다는 말씀ㅋ

Improvement over their debut in my opinion. Every song here is great, memorable with awesome riffs and a fantastic vocal performance. Quite dark for Maiden too which is a plus.

브루스 디킨슨이 없는 메이든은 싱겁긴 하지만, 음악은 대단히 훌륭하다

지금도 그렇지만 초기의 아이언메이든은 스티브 해리스의 작곡과 폴디아노의 보컬, 리드미컬한 트윈기타가 아주 잘 어우러진 것 같다
