2000년대 이후 테스타먼트 최고작. 이 때의 성공공식을 지금까지 써먹는 거 봐서는 나름의 가치가 있는 앨범. 물론 그게 명반이라는 소리는 아니다.

개더링 이후 이 앨범을 듣고 다시 테스타먼트 앨범을 모으기 시작하게 되었다. 후글란과 알렉스의 연주는 굿. 후글란은 정식멤버. 크리스 애들러는 "A Day in the Death" (iTunes bonus track) 에서 세션을 뛰었다. 6번은 초기 명작 practic에 담겨져 있던 The Ballad의 좀 더 헤비한 버전으로 들렸다. 알렉스 믿고 가는 앨범.보너스 트랙들은 덤 87-88점 정도?

Easily one of the band's most destructive albums. A modern Thrash Metal classic. On this album the band proves that they still have a lot to deliver, simply excellent.

Here's a full album with only good songs. I don't find any song in particular to be great. Also, some of the lyrics felt kinda funny to me, especially on track 1 with the call and response.

테스타먼트의 앨범을 사는 것은 대체로 지불한 돈 이상의 값어치를 무리없이 확보한다는 것을 의미한다. 물론 보너스 트랙이 포함되어 있다면 앨범을 사기로 한 결정은 탁월한 선택이다.

테스타먼트의 노련함이 정점에 올라있으며, 철옹성처럼 단단한 사운드의 작품입니다. 연배에 맞는 적당한 박력과 기품있는 연주력. 어두운 기운을 가득 담아 넣은 발라드에서는 여유로움이 느껴집니다. 포탄을 쏘아붙이는것 같은 리듬을 따라 불벼락이 내려치는 스래쉬 메탈로, 극단적으로 격렬하지 않아도 이렇게 강력할 수 있다는 것을 친히 사사해 주십니다.

후반작 테스타먼트 앨범 중에서는 그나마 괜찮게 들었다. 발라드곡 Cold Embrace 는 괜찮게 들었다. 초창기 척 빌리의 목소리 톤이 아니라는게 좀 아쉬웠다만

Testament's second release after a long hiatus. Again you can enjoy some very good work. Ther music is really honed and polished at this point, so one can easily become enthralled by the pure thrashiness of these songs.
