Brilliant Satan Hymn of Deicide, Kill The Christian!!!
Deicide 는 前 작인 Legion 에서 Deicide Death Metal 에서 벗어나어 테크닉과 음악 외 효과를 삽입하면서 잠깐 Deicide 를 외도하였다. 그런 Deicide 는 본 작을 발표하면서 참된 Deicide 로 다시 돌아왔다. Deicide 역사상 가장 유려하고 화려한 Death Metal 을 들려준다. 얼마나 Deicide 가 진실된 Death Metal 표현을 위해서 심혈을 기울였을지 짐작이 간다. Glen Benton 의 목소리에 적절한 잔향을 준 것과 꽉 찬 느낌의 Hoffman 형제의 Riff 는 청각적 만족감을 제공한다. 그러한 화려한 Deicide 를 빛내는 중심에는 Producer Scott Burns 가 있다. Deicide 와의 작업에서 Scott Burns 최고의 작품이 아닐까 싶다. Scott Burns 의 Reference 음반으로도 손색이 없을 정도이다.
끝으로 본 작이 명반이긴 하나 Deicide 는 첫 번째 음반인 Deicide 를 먼저 듣는 걸 권하고 싶다.

2집 Legion이 음악적으로 무지막지했다면, 3집인 본작은 자켓에서 무지막지함을 보야준다.
아쉽게도 음악적으로 헤비함이 많이 줄었다. 녹음탓도 있는듯 싶다.
(2집의 미친드러밍 미친베이스가 너무 좋다)
어렸던 시절에 앨범 자켓때문에 음반점에서 사지 않았던 것이 두고두고 후회되었다.
1,2집 보다는 힘빠지지만 여전히 디어사이드의 무서움을 느낄 수 있는 마지막 앨범.
1번트랙 초반부분은 좋은 시도였다 (개인적으로 분위기있는,긴장감을고조시키는 인트로 따위가 좋다)
전체적으로 좋지만 딱히 삘꽂힌 트랙은 없었던,, darkthrone의 panzerfaust들었을때 받은 애매한 느낌인 앨범
추천트랙은 1, 4 정도
디어사이드 는 딱 이 앨범까지ㅏ 초명반일듯 싶다

Deicide at its best. Maybe not as agressive and relentless as their first album but the songwriting is next level.

디어사이드 2018년작까지 통털어도 가장 자극적인 앨범 자켓 (속지가 누구를 해부한걸 그냥 흰 천으로 덮어놓은 상태이고;;). 당시로는 매우 강렬한 'Once upon the Cross', 'Kill the Christian' 트랙이 있는 앨범. 1, 2집은 진짜 전설이고 3집까지도, 어쩌면 느슨하게 봐서 첫라이브 나오기 전인 4집까지도 전성기 명작으로 보는 사람들이 많죠.

악마가 운전하는 지옥행 증기기관차가 마치 뱀처럼 나아갑니다. 부글부글 끓어오르는 불경의 타르 속으로 잠겨들어가는 기분입니다. 정신나간 퀄리티의 1집에는 미치지 못하지만, 다소 별로였던 2집보다는 더 선명하게 갈겨주어 만족스럽습니다. 러닝타임이 짧은것은 장점이자 단점. 리프들이 닮아있어 대부분의 곡들이 비스무리한점은 약간 아쉽게 느껴집니다.

전설의 1집도 좋지만 이 앨범과 오비츄어리의 cause of death로 데쓰메탈을 알게 되었고 열광하게 된 계기가 된 앨범

개독교인을 죽이자! 라고 질러대는 4번이 인상적. 전체적으로 고르게 좋으나 전작들만큼이 퀄리티는 아니다. 살짝쿵 밋밋한게 아쉬운 앨범

Deicide의 초기 1,2,3,4집을 미친듯이 들은 사람이라면 이 앨범을 최고로 꼽을리가 없다. 꼭 카니발콥스는 앨범도 제대로 안들어보면서 죽인다고 하며 hammer smashed face 하나만 알고 이 밴드는 Once Upon The Cross 하나만 알더라. 전
