There are a couple of good moments, and track 5 is decent, but the rest is weak & aimless. Too crowded with trap beats. A lot of it lacks emotion & tension. They cover Björk's masterpiece Army of Me and, no surprise, can't even come close to the original. Why try the impossible? Overall, slightly negative but not terrible.   Nov 29, 2023

Very lo-fi and the riffs are evil & gorgeous. Vocals are distorted like Burzum, and to good effect. The ambient parts are nice enough that I refuse to skip them. (Also black 'n roll comes right out of nowhere in a fun way for a moment.) Solid BM from a brand spanking new artist.   Nov 21, 2023

A good introduction to this band for me, I think. Heavy metal with strong 80s trademarks all mixed with the classic black metal that came after it in a much different market. Combine that weird combo with spooky undertones, and it's a really unique approach they have - definitely not sounding like anyone I can think of.   Nov 6, 2023

I'm just learning about this band and I'm thoroughly impressed. Excellently played. Also the blackened vocals are done perfectly and are just pure pleasure to listen to, whereas blackened vocals are usually just for fitting with the atmosphere for me. 꽤나 미움받는 듯한 밴드지만 개인적으로는 좋아했었음. 'Black Widow'까지는 좋았는데, 점점 이상해지더니 이제는 더 이상 들어주기 힘들 정도. 하지만, 평단의 평가는 상당히 좋은편. 본 앨범은 인더스트리얼한 면이 강해지며 NIN과 흡사한 사운드를 들려주는데, 이게 개인취향에 안맞는 탓인듯.   Oct 31, 2023

This album has a bunch of excellent moments, but I wouldn't call any one track completely excellent. The firs song is in atmospheric/depressive territory, and the last song is in a folky Agalloch style. All in all, a good album like every other black metal album I listened to today. 1990년도에 대체 무슨 일이 있었길래... rust in peace, painkiller, spiritual healing, cowboys from hell까지... 가슴이 웅장해진다. 나머지 앨범들도 손에 꼽을 정도로 좋아하는 앨범이지만 거의 모든 곡이 취향 저격인 앨범은 이것 밖에 없다.   May 7, 2024

드디어 이들의 약점이었던 절제된 기타솔로가 어느정도 해금되었습니다. 지난 앨범도 만족스러웠는데 역시나 이번에도 실망하지 않게 해주네요. 나이가 들어감에 따라 내가 좋아하는 밴드들도 하나둘씩 늙어가고 멤버들도 세상을 떠나는 걸 보니 매우 슬프네요. 반덴플라스는 계속 음악활동 왕성히 해주었으면 좋겠습니다   May 8, 2024

개인적으로 이 앨범을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는다. 이 앨범이야 말로 방향성이 애매했던 프로듀싱과 작곡으로 생각보다 안좋네 라고 생각했던 앨범. 물론 메탈 갓이 주다스의 시그니쳐로 쓰이기는 한데 이 곡도 애매하다. 브레이킹 더 로나 리빙도 맘에 안들고 물론 관중과 싱어롱할때는 좋긴 하다고 생각은 하지만 말이다. 75-80점.6번 8번이 의외로 좋다.   May 8, 2024

천재라 불렸던 자들은 진짜 총기가 불을 뿜는 때가 있다. 이시절의 나가쉬가 그랬다. 전작과 너무 다른 이앨범으로 전작에 버금가는 놀라운 사운드를 만들어냈다. 일렉트로니카와 익스트림을 섞어 부대찌개처럼 절묘한 융합의 새로운 맛을 냈다. 이렇게 세기말을 통과했던 이들은 너무 빨리 미래로 넘어갔다. 25년이 넘어도 여전히 미래적이다.   May 14, 2024

락/메탈의 시대 흐름에 따른 트렌드의 변화를 가장 적나라하게 보여주는 앨범. 메탈헤드 모두가 수긍할 만한 스타일의 음악은 아니지만 당시 Slayer도 Public Enemy도 좋아했던 나에게는 최고의 앨범 중 하나였다.   7 days ago
