Very good thrash in a very good year for thrash. 110% old school. Also it's a reminder that clean vocals can exist in thrash. Here they're clean shouting/singing. Each song is burning with such a bright blue flame that everything in sight is singed pitch black. The vocals immensely powerful and the composition gives a real feeling of urgency. At times, the music gets about 40% to 45% toward depressive territory, but it's still decidedly on the atmospheric side. This is a great mode to be in. I've been trying argue myself out of giving it a perfect score, but I keep losing the argument. 100/100 it is.   Nov 7, 2023

The ferocity pierces right into my chest when I listen to this one. Trhä is searching for strange new sonic worlds. This EP feels like a festive celebration on some alien planet where the creatures express holiday spirit with frantic fury. The clean outro is a great addition too. I really liked this traditional doom. The vocals are very distant and full of echo, and I understand how this might turn off a lot of listeners. I do feel that these songs kinda de-emphasize the vocals and relegate them to a supporting role of aiding the mood, so it works well to my ear. That running time looks a little long, right? If this album lost a couple of songs and interludes, it would be as good as Thy Kingdom Cold. Dark Fables of the Night has a song or 2 with vocals that just continue for too long, and that feels really unnatural with the croaking technique he uses. my heart broke a little when i heard those clean vocals but its still a great song. zelli has some great gutturals in this and like all paleface songs the guitar and bass tuning make their riffs so brutal. very happy to have been surprised by this new song today!!   Nov 1, 2023

The perfect album when it comes to showing people what new metal sounds like. Everything is done with an amazingly high level of quality. Courtney is amazing with the vocals as always, showing more range with her cleans. The guitar and drums work perfectly with it as well, either exploding in your face when she’s angry or flowing along when it’s a more melodic tone. I'm growing to love albums that combine war metal and deathgrind. So this is music like Infernal Coil but it achieves a much different effect. I really liked the whole thing. There are some 1st class head-bopping parts. 개인적으로 이 앨범을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는다. 이 앨범이야 말로 방향성이 애매했던 프로듀싱과 작곡으로 생각보다 안좋네 라고 생각했던 앨범. 물론 메탈 갓이 주다스의 시그니쳐로 쓰이기는 한데 이 곡도 애매하다. 브레이킹 더 로나 리빙도 맘에 안들고 물론 관중과 싱어롱할때는 좋긴 하다고 생각은 하지만 말이다. 75-80점.6번 8번이 의외로 좋다.   May 8, 2024

천재라 불렸던 자들은 진짜 총기가 불을 뿜는 때가 있다. 이시절의 나가쉬가 그랬다. 전작과 너무 다른 이앨범으로 전작에 버금가는 놀라운 사운드를 만들어냈다. 일렉트로니카와 익스트림을 섞어 부대찌개처럼 절묘한 융합의 새로운 맛을 냈다. 이렇게 세기말을 통과했던 이들은 너무 빨리 미래로 넘어갔다. 25년이 넘어도 여전히 미래적이다.   May 14, 2024
