Even if this project is inspired by cringe-tier conspiracy theories, the music is absolutely wonderful. The recording is done in just the right way that makes this sub-genre really exhilarating. Cool use of a grimoire demon in the theme & album cover. I'll take that to mean that natural herbs are superior to pharmaceuticals and don't really care if that's not what the band thinks.   Dec 15, 2023

album Biolume Part 3 - A Fullmoon Madness from the group (one man project) Midnight Odyssey offers quite good Atmospheric Black Metal with occasional elements of Ambient. I like the atmospheric elements more, a little less ambient. From the BM scene, it is one of the better ones.   May 5, 2024

I'm a huge fan of the Australian one-man band 'Midnight Odessey' and Dis Pater draws the card of atmospheric BM on this 3th part of Biolume totally instead of the ambient influences and its the perfect match with Dis Pater's voice. And the lenght of 2h04m is a pure gift, from the first till the last second, each song, I enjoyed it immensely. This is Midnight Odesey on his best!   Apr 16, 2024

I would say it is not a bad album when it comes to melody-crafting capability, but it is another indistinctive cookie-cutter release you would easily find in the same genre category. Speaking of the overall quality, it is definitely an unsatisfactory work. The Dutch syndicate should have been way better on this album, considering it is a long-awaited album since their debut release.   Dec 27, 2023

That album title and cover art are in the best of taste. The vocals are deeper and more gruff than you'll be expecting, but with this album, Zannibal has created a very unique blend of influences, making this black metal stick out from other albums as much as that album cover does. This album is making everybody's lists and..... it's as good as they say! Deeply melancholic melodic BM that works in all kinds of surprises, but they all fit perfectly. Now I see they have 3 earlier albums and I feel pretty lucky. Throne of the Lunar Soul is highly recommended.   Nov 28, 2023

I was actually reeling and saying 'holy %#*@' to myself long after listening to this wonderful album that came as a surprise release for me today. There's doom at some parts and I think I hear Drudkh influence in a couple parts. The vocals are pure vitriol and there is exactly enough of them. The doomy parts are delectable and the blackened guitarwork is bleak and terrifying. My pick of the week, and best straight BM release so far this year.   Nov 25, 2023

드디어 이들의 약점이었던 절제된 기타솔로가 어느정도 해금되었습니다. 지난 앨범도 만족스러웠는데 역시나 이번에도 실망하지 않게 해주네요. 나이가 들어감에 따라 내가 좋아하는 밴드들도 하나둘씩 늙어가고 멤버들도 세상을 떠나는 걸 보니 매우 슬프네요. 반덴플라스는 계속 음악활동 왕성히 해주었으면 좋겠습니다   May 8, 2024

리치가 베이스를 1–3, 6를 연주했다. 그 외의 스튜디오는 밥 데이즐리 연주. 어렸을 때에는 1,5를 굉장히 좋아했었는데 문제는 5를 라센 시기에는 듣질 못했었다. 지금은 오히려 4번 같은 곡이 애청곡이 되었다. 앨범으로 기준으로도 1,2집보다 더 좋아했던 기억이 있다. 8번은 역시나 디오의 또 다른 보컬 맛을 느끼기 좋은 곡. 디오 재적시의 앨범은 영원할 것 같다.   Apr 20, 2024

3인조 코로너의 전 앨범 특히 2,3,4집을 좋아합니다. 옛날에 3집을 LP로 구입했었는데 속지에 시계, 스위스, 큰 글자로 '그로테스크' 라고 적힌 기억이.. 이후 90년대 중후반에 걸쳐서 전 앨범을 시디로 하나씩 모았죠. 30년간 신보를 안 내고 재결성 후에 아직도 활동하는 것도 특이한데, 그만큼 고정팬들이 많다는거 거겠죠.   Apr 25, 2024

개인적으로 이 앨범을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는다. 이 앨범이야 말로 방향성이 애매했던 프로듀싱과 작곡으로 생각보다 안좋네 라고 생각했던 앨범. 물론 메탈 갓이 주다스의 시그니쳐로 쓰이기는 한데 이 곡도 애매하다. 브레이킹 더 로나 리빙도 맘에 안들고 물론 관중과 싱어롱할때는 좋긴 하다고 생각은 하지만 말이다. 75-80점.6번 8번이 의외로 좋다.   May 8, 2024

이 앨범 그냥 시대를 관통했습니다. 2030 고독사가 늘어나고 점점 사람들과의 관계가 멀어져 가는 요즘 시대에 살아가는 우리들에게 받아야할 위로를 이 앨범이 하나의 동화처럼 들려주기 때문입니다. 그리고 이 앨범의 모티브가 된 실화는 현 우리나라의 문제점을 그대로 나타나는 게 더 소름돋습니다.   6 days ago
