The band's evolution in relation to their first album is insane. This album is excellent, it has beautiful compositions and one of the best vocal performances by the legendary Tarja Turunen. One of my favorite albums by the band.

32 for all time on this website? It's great, but it's not THAT great. Much improvement over the debut, and displays a wide variety of styles here, most pulled off pretty well. "Walking in the Air" is a very pleasant surprise.

무난하게 들을만 하지만, 개인적으로 Nightwish 앨범 가운데서는 'Dark Passion Play'나 'Imaginaerum'을 훨씬 더 좋아함.

화려한 멜로디, 황홀한 사운드, 환상적인 소프라노 보컬.. 그 모든 걸 합친 앨범이다. 그렇다고 메탈의 요소가 없는가 하면 또 그건 아니다. 제대로 달려줄때는 시원하게 달려준다. 1번, 7번, 8번, 12번 트랙이 제일 좋았다 말 그대로 정말 화려한 앨범.

진정 웰빙 파워메탈이다. 메탈의 강력함과 소프라노 창법의 우아함과 질주감, 황홀한 멜로디 등등. 너무 감칠맛 나는 앨범이다. gethsemane, sacrament of wilderness, moondance, walking in the air 를 좋게 들었다.

대중적으로 엄청난 인기를 구가하는 밴드인데, 음악을 들어보면 왜 인기가 좋은지 어렵지 않게 알수있습니다. 메탈이라는 이름을 쓰고있지만, 흔히 생각하는 헤비니스는 없으며, 악기들은 그저 어느정도 메탈에 자주 쓰이는 주법의 박력 있는 연주를 할 뿐입니다. 매니악한 장르라 여겨지는 메탈을 간접적으로 체험해 볼수있게 메탈 향신료 순한맛을 넣었습니다.

환상적인 앨범커버와 그에 어울리는 음악. 나이트위시 최고의 앨범이고, 아마 팬들이 가장 좋아하는 앨범이 아닐까 생각한다. 나온 지 20년이 넘은 작품이지만 들을 때마다 Stargazers, Gethsemane, Swanheart, Moondance 등은 가슴을 울린다. 마지막 Walking In The Air에서 타르야의 목소리는 참...

진짜 이 곡은 첫번째 트랙이 하드캐리했고 나머지 트랙도 굉장히 휼륭하다. 그리고 앨범아트도 예술이다. 그러고 보면 메탈앨범들은 몇몇 똥반들을 빼고 몇 똥반도 포함해서 예술적이다.

랩소디의 Symphony of Enchanted Lands에 비견되는 훌륭한 소포모어. 화려하고 영롱한 심포닉적 키보드 터치에 박력과 조밀함이 공존하는 기타 선율, 우아하고 풍성한 타르야의 소프라노가 밸런스 있게 공존합니다. 1, 4, 5가 베스트.
