My 89th most played album. Sammy Hagar - Standing Hampton. Often overlooked, this was a hit machine producing 6 hit singles from just one record. “Heavy Metal”, “I'll Fall in Love Again” peaked at #2 on Billboard Mainstream Rock, “There's Only One Way to Rock” peaked at #31 on Billboard Mainstream Rock, “Can't Get Loose” peaked at #49 on Billboard Mainstream Rock, “Piece of My Heart” peaked at #67 on Billboard Pop Singles and “Baby's on Fire” peaked at #35 on Billboard Mainstream Rock all charted leaving a shortage of B-sides. “Baby, It's You”, “Surrender”, “Inside Lookin' In” and “Sweet Hitchhiker”. Went Platinum yet only peaked at #28 on the album chart, the rockers never got a break.
