Botch’s second and final album carries many of the same strengths and weaknesses as their debut.

As Dave once said in his autobiography, the trio of masterpieces Rust in Peace, Countdown and Youthtanasia were recorded at a time of sobriety for him. Perhaps this influenced the greatness of the three works. For me, Youthtanasia especially shows a little more maturity in Dave's songwriting. 6번 타이틀 곡에서 john의 보컬이 매우 빛난다.
이 앨범을 들으면서 john의 보컬이 jeff scott soto를 능가하고 있다고 생각이 들었다.
