It might sound contradictory if I point out the unstructured musical features as the weakness of an avant-garde metal album. It would be exactly the same as criticising an avant-garde metal album for being avant-garde. But I think that great avant-garde metal must have distinct, and well-ordered musical arrays hidden in or juxtaposed with ingenious musicianship. Yurei's second effort sounds more orderly than his previous release. But I prefer his first effort over this album.   Mar 19, 2023

It is a good dreamy instrumental album created by meticulous musicianship which had been developed through the two previous EPs. I'm still listening to this album from time to time since its release. If you are disappointed in the !T.O.O.H.!'s later works, Duobetic Homunkulus would be the alternative to fulfilling the deficiency of your extravagant 'progness'. Parius have gotten rid of the extreme elements shown in their previous release. Over 2/3 of this album is covered in pure-prog elements. This album has some bombastic and heavenly moments, especially in the ending track. These moments sound like the musical synthesis between BTBAM and Haken. It's a bold work as a newcomer to the thrash revival scene back in 2009. The entire album sounds never overcomplicated, and the riffs are simple and intuitive compared to the other thrash revivalists. It's a very attractive album with progressive additives. I highly recommend this album for whom originality is the top priority in evaluating music. What a hidden gem! It has always been tough for me to give this EP the proper evaluation that it deserves because it is not a full-length album, which means that, to me, some tracks might sound like something unfinished. Overall it is a quite unique-sounding EP that may make you have high hopes for their future works. This one is the summarised work retrospecting Gorhoth's past career before they released the first full-length album. This album sounds like orthodox blackened death metal. Each song may be lacking the uniqueness that you might wish to look for. But the overall atmosphere of this album is the nostalgia for good old-school death metal music. 리치가 베이스를 1–3, 6를 연주했다. 그 외의 스튜디오는 밥 데이즐리 연주. 어렸을 때에는 1,5를 굉장히 좋아했었는데 문제는 5를 라센 시기에는 듣질 못했었다. 지금은 오히려 4번 같은 곡이 애청곡이 되었다. 앨범으로 기준으로도 1,2집보다 더 좋아했던 기억이 있다. 8번은 역시나 디오의 또 다른 보컬 맛을 느끼기 좋은 곡. 디오 재적시의 앨범은 영원할 것 같다.   Apr 20, 2024

3인조 코로너의 전 앨범 특히 2,3,4집을 좋아합니다. 옛날에 3집을 LP로 구입했었는데 속지에 시계, 스위스, 큰 글자로 '그로테스크' 라고 적힌 기억이.. 이후 90년대 중후반에 걸쳐서 전 앨범을 시디로 하나씩 모았죠. 30년간 신보를 안 내고 재결성 후에 아직도 활동하는 것도 특이한데, 그만큼 고정팬들이 많다는거 거겠죠.   Apr 25, 2024

개인적으로 이 앨범을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는다. 이 앨범이야 말로 방향성이 애매했던 프로듀싱과 작곡으로 생각보다 안좋네 라고 생각했던 앨범. 물론 메탈 갓이 주다스의 시그니쳐로 쓰이기는 한데 이 곡도 애매하다. 브레이킹 더 로나 리빙도 맘에 안들고 물론 관중과 싱어롱할때는 좋긴 하다고 생각은 하지만 말이다. 75-80점.6번 8번이 의외로 좋다.   May 8, 2024
