"Start From the Dark" is excellent comeback album, harder, less hit and focused on guitars (compared to pompous albums of the past). It is the sixth studio album and was band's first release since reforming in 2003. Lineup feature the band's original guitarist John Norum since 1986's The Final Countdown. Album featured more modern sound compared to Europe's first two albums. Mar 11, 2023

Vektor shows on "Outer Isolation" big musicianship, complex composition, technicality and progressive approach. Band sacrifices none of their intensity and combines thrash aggression with progressive ambition. From my point of view, the vocals are weaker, but this is probably just a matter of taste. Vektor are Technical Thrash Metal band with many riffs and solos, but in some ways "Terminal Redux" sees Vektor delving more into Death Metal territory. Not only are the vocals reminiscent of a less irritating Chuck Schuldiner, but a lot of the proggier passages evoke Death’s later career in terms of overall vibe. Mar 11, 2023

"Blackout" is Scorpions eighth studio album and during the writing process of the album lead singer Klaus Meine losing his voice. Italians Marco Garau's Magic Opera combine Symphonic Neoclassical Power/Heavy Metal, while they are influenced by groups like Helloween, Rhapsody of Fire and Malmsteen. However, compared to the greats, album has several shortcomings, even through quality music. The first is the bland sound of guitars and bass. Another is a less pronounced singing and sometimes addition of growling, which just doesn't suit the performance of the music. Mar 5, 2023

Apr 29, 2024

1990년도에 대체 무슨 일이 있었길래... rust in peace, painkiller, spiritual healing, cowboys from hell까지... May 7, 2024

May 5, 2024

May 10, 2024

May 10, 2024

5 days ago
