My 93rd most played album. Deep Purple - House of Blue Light. The 12th studio album was released in 1987. #1 in three countries peaked at #34 in the U.S.. Two singles were released "Call of the Wild" And "Bad Attitude" both peaked at #14 on the charts. This is the best line up of the band often referred to as Mark II. Ian Gillan – vocals, harmonica, Ritchie Blackmore – guitar, Jon Lord – keyboards, Roger Glover – bass and Ian Paice – drums, percussion. This band never puts out a bad album, they just keep getting better. If you have not heard it, what are you waiting for? It's only been 20 years and this is one of rock's best bands. I hear St. Peter will not let you in if you can't hum a bar from this record so don't die without a listen. Amazing this album did not go gold? Wow.

to isté, ako u predošlého albumu - jednoducho kvalitka. Myslel som si, že som už dané album hodnotil. Dobre, že som si to pozrel, bola by škoda neohodnotiť takúto klasiku fandov D.P.

1,3 주요곡들이고 개인적으로 2,8도 좋음. 6,10은 라이브앨범에 실린걸보면 투어할때 자주 연주된듯. 전작에 이어 락킹한 곡들이 주를 이루는데 개인적으로 엄청 좋거나 싫은곡 보다는 중상이나 중간정도의 곡이 많은 느낌. 딥퍼플 앨범중에서 가장 차가운 사운드의 앨범

개인적으로 엄청나게 실망한 앨범. 딥퍼플의 디스코그라피 중 최악의 앨범이 아닐까 싶다. A Bad Attitude 때문에 그나마 2점 더준다.
