Giving this a 90 because each individual effort of this band is phenomenal and the final product is very well put together. Although I don't normally like symphonic elements, anyone familiar with the genre understands the amount of talent this band has had for a long time and will continue to have. They're literally one of the bands that has set the tone for deathcore trends and always manage to stay ahead of the pack. Ben Deurr is one of the best vocalists out there and the band behind him repeatedly knows exactly what to write to support the entire sound (even though they're leaning more towards the classic death metal sound now). Very well done and regardless of symphonic elements, this album will always be included in the playlists. This probably won't be my album of the year, but I can certainly understand why people love it.

A previous comment of mine suggested I wasn't generally a deathcore fan but that the particular album I commented on may have changed my mind... This album fully changed my mind—no more hesitation. Shadow of Intent has made me a deathcore fan.

I thought it would be so-so, but this high quality stuff gave me a pleasant surprise. The power and energy really cheered me up. The symphonic elements are a great match for their type of deathcore.

자켓은 못생겼지만 음악은 예쁨. 심포닉 데스 메탈 + 데스코어. 훌륭한 더블베이스 드럼때문인지 대략 Fleshgod Apocalypse가 코어를 하는 느낌. 오케스트라를 활용하여 웅장/처연한 느낌을 잘 살리며, 멜로디와 광폭함 두마리 토끼를 잡음. 다만, 워낙에 코어 특유의 사운드를 싫어하는지라, 개인적으로 취향에 딱 맞지는 않음.

전작들의 심포닉이 향 추가였다면 이번작은 보다 직접적이다. 맛이 달라졌지만 맛이 떨어지진 않는다.

장르가 Deathcore라고 되어있어 들어보았더니 Symphonic Death Metal이었다. 작년에 처음 접했던 Seven Spires와 비슷하면서 다른데 큰 감흥이 없었다

이런류 밴드들은 앨범 낼때마다 보통 심포닉이 과하게 들어가서 메탈을 듣는건지 오케스트라를 듣는건지 모르겠을 정도로 뇌절 치는 밴드들이 많았는데 초창기 플래쉬갓이 떠오를만큼 적절하게 또 적당하게 활용한 앨범이다.
