Just perfect.

이 앨범은 쟈켓에 맞게 굉장히 미래스러운 사운드를 잘 만들어냈다. 1,2,8은 늘 훌륭한 느낌이고 36년이 된 지금도 촌스런 느낌이 없다. 여전히 powerslave가 아주 내 입맛에 맞는 그것이지만 이 앨범에 대해서는 새로운 사운드를 개척했다는데에 대해서 점수를 주고 싶다. 이게 당시에는 실망스러운 요소가 되었을 수도 있었을텐데 현시점에서는 전혀 흉이 아니다.

1,2,8번 트랙들로 인해 전작 Powerslave보다 더 좋게 듣는 앨범.

A fantastic album from top to bottom. Probably the best guitar tone ever! Not a single weak song. Caught Somewhere in Time is one of my favourite openers. It has two of the best Maiden solos. So does Alexander the Great. Adrian is the MVP of this album with 3 writing credits and this album has his best guitar work, with Stranger in a Strange Land & Wasted Years being his best ever. Also has one of, if not the best album cover ever, which is heavily influenced by Blade Runner.

Classic. Some of the best Maiden songs. Wish it was a tiny less 'produced' with less flange-guitar sound. Otherwise great.

For me the best Iron Maiden album ever.

인상적인 커버디자인과 아주 찰떡같이 어울리는 우주SF적인 분위기가 넘실거리는 아이언메이든 또 하나의 아주 좋은 수작 앨범.

One of the band's best albums. Wasted Years is one of the band's best songs and Alexander The Great is one of the band's most underrated songs. Worth listening to.

캐치하면서 가슴이 웅장해지는 작곡, 감히 넘볼수없는 보컬, 뭐 이런 사기캐가 있나 싶은 앨범.

숨겨진 명반 !! 그리고 최애 Maiden 앨범

일단 구수한 사운드가 귀에 착착 감긴다. 그리고 멋진 앨범 아트워크.

멋진 커버에 어울리는 환상적인 앨범. 달리기 할 때 들으면 힘이 나는 The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, 중독성 있는 후렴구의 Heaven Can Wait를 즐겨 들었으며, 무엇보다 마지막 Alexander the Great는 역시 메이든은 대곡 잘 만든다... 라고 감탄하게 만드는 곡이다. 들으면 알렉산더 뽕이 차오른다...

My most played album #419. Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time. Platinum 1986. Bassist and primary writer Steve Harris but Adrian Smith, wrote both of the album's singles: "Wasted Years" and "Stranger in a Strange Land". Play the whole album! Past Iron Maiden albums include: Killers #8, Number of the Beast #55, Powerslave #125, Paul Di'Anno Killers Murder one #261, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son #179.

전과 약간 달라진 노선

주옥같은 곡들이 다수 포진되어 있다. 최근 라이브에서도 지속적으로 셋 리스트에 포함되는 곡들이 수록되어 있는 명반이다

확실히 말할수있는것은 이 형님들 곡은 라이브가 훨씬 더좋다는것입니다. 스튜디오버전과 비교가안될정도로 라이브가 좋다고 감히 말하고싶습니다. 스튜디오버전은 라이브에서의 에너지와 사운드적으로 꽉찬 느낌이 없어서 오히려 안좋다고 느껴질정도입니다. 제게는 여러번들어도 2번의 멋진인트로 말고는 기억에 남는부분이없는 앨범으로남아있습니다.

기타 신디사이저 썼다길래 2번트랙이 그런건가 싶더니만 그노래만 안썼다로 하더라구요. [Turbo] 처럼 노래를 만들면 모를까 굳이 신디사이저 쓸 이유가 있을지 모르겠습니다. 노래들은 수록곡 퀄리티 떨어지는게 딱히 없어서 좋았구, 아주 좋구나 하는 노래가 없어서 조금 아쉬웠어요.

Iron Maiden 이 분들은 뭘해도.....

탄탄한 연주력, 번뜩이는 멜로디, 장중한 대곡등 명반의 요소를 모두 갖춘 대가들의 역작! Wasted Years,Alexander The Great는 진정 멋진곡들!

전반적으로 좋은 리프와 구간은 간간이 있는데 전체가 좋은 경우가 드물다. 그래도 타이틀 트랙 에픽 기타리드는 정말 멋지고, 7, 8번 트랙도 꽤 괜찮다.
