Vulcano screwed up somewhere between the debut and here. The super raw, lo-fi production on their first album was awful, but somewhat endearing - here it's just worse in every way. The mixing is atrocious. The guitars and vocals specifically sound a lot worse. Despite that, their is still a talented band underneath, and that saves it a bit, but this is still a huge letdown.   Jun 16, 2020

People define the word “heavy” in different ways, but if you want to define it as “playing as fast and as dissonantly as possible” than Scum was the heaviest album in the world when it came out, inventing a new genre so abrasive it couldn’t fit into Hardcore Punk nor Death Metal. Grindcore is, at its core, just taking music extremities to 11 at all costs, and Scum was the first Grindcore album. This record is therein about 28 minutes of 28 songs of that.   Jun 16, 2020

리치가 베이스를 1–3, 6를 연주했다. 그 외의 스튜디오는 밥 데이즐리 연주. 어렸을 때에는 1,5를 굉장히 좋아했었는데 문제는 5를 라센 시기에는 듣질 못했었다. 지금은 오히려 4번 같은 곡이 애청곡이 되었다. 앨범으로 기준으로도 1,2집보다 더 좋아했던 기억이 있다. 8번은 역시나 디오의 또 다른 보컬 맛을 느끼기 좋은 곡. 디오 재적시의 앨범은 영원할 것 같다.   Apr 20, 2024

3인조 코로너의 전 앨범 특히 2,3,4집을 좋아합니다. 옛날에 3집을 LP로 구입했었는데 속지에 시계, 스위스, 큰 글자로 '그로테스크' 라고 적힌 기억이.. 이후 90년대 중후반에 걸쳐서 전 앨범을 시디로 하나씩 모았죠. 30년간 신보를 안 내고 재결성 후에 아직도 활동하는 것도 특이한데, 그만큼 고정팬들이 많다는거 거겠죠.   Apr 25, 2024

개인적으로 이 앨범을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는다. 이 앨범이야 말로 방향성이 애매했던 프로듀싱과 작곡으로 생각보다 안좋네 라고 생각했던 앨범. 물론 메탈 갓이 주다스의 시그니쳐로 쓰이기는 한데 이 곡도 애매하다. 브레이킹 더 로나 리빙도 맘에 안들고 물론 관중과 싱어롱할때는 좋긴 하다고 생각은 하지만 말이다. 75-80점.6번 8번이 의외로 좋다.   May 8, 2024
