Cosmicism 65/100Ouch, this was painful. Good parts first - tracks 3 & 8 are pretty good, and track 9 was amusing for just the first time (meaning 'not again, please'). The rest of the album is dominated by sappy songs trying to be sentimental but they're so fake. Worst is that it's a lot of 'boohoo my girlfriend' garbage. All that fake heartfelt posturing doesn't match well with the NSFW bad-boy lyrics & attitude. Overall, failure. Dec 15, 2023

Cosmicism 100/100The drumming alone could be enough for a 100/100, but everything else also shows exactly why black metal can be so captivating. The eerie atmosphere, the passion in the vocals, the heavy yet soothing effect of the long songs, and the action-packed composition are all absolute top tier. Cosmicism 80/100Overall positive, and I like how they stay true to the hardcore punk that metalcore is supposed to be influenced by. I was expecting much worse music, and I was glad to be wrong. The only weak point I can think of is that every song has the same aggressive energy, and that some variety could make it better. Dec 12, 2023

Cosmicism 80/100I like everything except the first song. Richard's vocal ability is OK, and he gets even more out of it than your average singer through a repertoire of techniques, and it all helps the songs' power. Track 10 has an intensely sad melody and intensely sad lyrics. Despite being 'the slow song' it's actually fantastic. Dec 10, 2023

Cosmicism 80/100Good to find out that this album is mostly good songs. I knew this release was a big commercial endeavor, but props to Stabbing Westward and everyone involved for keeping it real. That running time looks too long, and it's some of the songs in the middle that should have been cut in my opinion (especially the slower ones). Save Yourself is quite wonderful. Iconoclast 90/100드디어 이들의 약점이었던 절제된 기타솔로가 어느정도 해금되었습니다. 지난 앨범도 만족스러웠는데 역시나 이번에도 실망하지 않게 해주네요. 나이가 들어감에 따라 내가 좋아하는 밴드들도 하나둘씩 늙어가고 멤버들도 세상을 떠나는 걸 보니 매우 슬프네요. 반덴플라스는 계속 음악활동 왕성히 해주었으면 좋겠습니다 May 8, 2024

metalnrock 100/100리치가 베이스를 1–3, 6를 연주했다. 그 외의 스튜디오는 밥 데이즐리 연주. 어렸을 때에는 1,5를 굉장히 좋아했었는데 문제는 5를 라센 시기에는 듣질 못했었다. 지금은 오히려 4번 같은 곡이 애청곡이 되었다. 앨범으로 기준으로도 1,2집보다 더 좋아했던 기억이 있다. 8번은 역시나 디오의 또 다른 보컬 맛을 느끼기 좋은 곡. 디오 재적시의 앨범은 영원할 것 같다. Apr 20, 2024

redondo 90/1003인조 코로너의 전 앨범 특히 2,3,4집을 좋아합니다. 옛날에 3집을 LP로 구입했었는데 속지에 시계, 스위스, 큰 글자로 '그로테스크' 라고 적힌 기억이.. 이후 90년대 중후반에 걸쳐서 전 앨범을 시디로 하나씩 모았죠. 30년간 신보를 안 내고 재결성 후에 아직도 활동하는 것도 특이한데, 그만큼 고정팬들이 많다는거 거겠죠. Apr 25, 2024

녹터노스 90/100간만에 듣는 수작 프로그레시브 젠트 앨범. 개인적으로 프록을 좋아하지 않음에도 불구하고 리프가 살아있고 복잡한 연주보다는 분위기나 리듬이 강조되어 듣는 재미가 배가 되었다. 보컬이 그로울링이었더라면 취향 100점 짜리 앨범이 되었지 않을까라는 생각도 드는 앨범. Apr 29, 2024

metalnrock 75/100개인적으로 이 앨범을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는다. 이 앨범이야 말로 방향성이 애매했던 프로듀싱과 작곡으로 생각보다 안좋네 라고 생각했던 앨범. 물론 메탈 갓이 주다스의 시그니쳐로 쓰이기는 한데 이 곡도 애매하다. 브레이킹 더 로나 리빙도 맘에 안들고 물론 관중과 싱어롱할때는 좋긴 하다고 생각은 하지만 말이다. 75-80점.6번 8번이 의외로 좋다. May 8, 2024

HIPnerd 100/100이 앨범 그냥 시대를 관통했습니다. 2030 고독사가 늘어나고 점점 사람들과의 관계가 멀어져 가는 요즘 시대에 살아가는 우리들에게 받아야할 위로를 이 앨범이 하나의 동화처럼 들려주기 때문입니다. 그리고 이 앨범의 모티브가 된 실화는 현 우리나라의 문제점을 그대로 나타나는 게 더 소름돋습니다. 4 days ago
