debutové album "The Forgotten Scroll" od skupiny Apocrypha obsahuje viacero zaujímavých informácií. Album produkoval Marty Friedman a myslím si, že jeho rukopis na albume je mierne poznateľný. Kapela po hudobnej stránke kombinuje technický Heavy/Power Metal s prvkami gitarových virtuóznych vyhrávok (shred) gitaristu Tony Fredianelli, ktorý mal v dobe nahrávania albumu len 17 rokov. Občas prejdú až do Speed -u. V hudbe počujem vplyv kapiel ako Cacophony alebo dokonca čiastočne aj Yngwie Malmsteen -a. Kapela nedosiahla slávu iných kapiel v danej dobe, ale myslím si, že hudba na albume je dosť podarená a zároveň ukazuje muzikantskú a technickú zadtnosť jednotlivých členov. Spev je melodický, ale stále chlapský a bicie s basou dobre zvládajú rytmické prvky v jednotlivých piesňach.
