Good album, bit better than Wishmaster, yet Once is much better than this. Album has few amazing tracks but also bit weaker songs which makes album bit uneven. Bassist Marco Hietala shines by his amazing vocals and great bass playing. Overall solid album which is worth to listen.

Excellent disc. The band's evolution is notable. This album features timeless symphonic metal classics, such as "Ever Dream", "End of all Hope" and of course, the legendary "The Phantom of the Opera". The album also marks the arrival of legendary bassist Marco Hietala. Great.

Century child is a very good album, it was worth listening. Best tracks: End Of All Hope, Ever Dream, Phantom Of The Opera, Beauty Of The Beast.

Für mich das Beste Nighwish Album. Eines der Besten Symphonic Metal von ersten bis zum letzen Song pure Magie :)

아니 진짜 "내 Tarja가 이렇게 귀여울 리가 없어"다. 마동석이 냥냥펀치때리는 걸 구경하는 기분. 오랜만에 들어도 여전히 실망만이 가득한 앨범. 프로듀싱이나 연주나 작곡이나 Oceanborn이나 Wishmaster을 비교하는 것은 전작에 대한 모독이고, 다만 한가지, 곳곳에 아이디어만큼은 눈에 띄므로 의욕 가득한 처녀밴드가 낸 기대되는 데모 앨범 정도와 비교하고 싶다.

본격적으로 오케스트레이션을 도입하며 나이트위시가 고딕-심포닉 메탈의 아이콘으로 급부상하는 기점이 되는 작품. 파워를 유지하기 위해 기타 사운드가 심포닉의 수려함과 비례하지 않게 빡세다는 게 불편하지만 곡들만큼은 최고. 이 때 들어온 마르코 히에탈라의 보컬도 다양한 목소리로 앨범을 더욱 돋보이게 합니다. 마지막 트랙이 킬링 트랙.

Good 16 - 처음으로 구입했던 "Nightwish" 앨범으로 강약 조절을 잘한 듯 보이는 트랙 배치 순서와 강렬한 베이스 사운드 그리고 보컬이 인상 깊었던 앨범... 2,3,4,5,7,9번 트랙 강력 추천~

디스토션 기타와 더블 베이스 드럼이 들어가도 메탈로 느껴지지 않는 첫 앨범. 반대로, 잔잔한 곡을 좋아하는 친구들에게 메탈입문용으론 최고. 9,10번 트랙 추천.

개인적이지만! 나이트위시 앨범중 가장 좋아하는 앨범! 1번부터 10번까지 버릴곡이 하나도 없다고 생각해요.. 특히 Ever Dream은 나이트위시 노래중 최고
