Spiritual Healing Comments

As good as its predecessor. Spiritual Healing is a much more reflective album, but maintains the weight and brutality of leprosy. Another excellent album from Death and the genius Chuck.

테크니컬데스의 원형이 갖추어지기 시작한 앨범. 강렬하고 스피디하고 철학적이다.

No es el álbum que más me guste de Death. Prefiero el primitivismo de Leprosy y luego el cambio total a The sound of perseverance. Este se me queda en tierra de nadie, aunque es un buen trabajo.

Previous album "Leprosy" was still a very straightforward but on "Spiritual Healing" the music got much more technical and slowed down quite much. There are more technical riffing, slower pace and more solos. The line-up stays almost the same, only Rick Rozz left the band to be replaced by James Murphy. The added technicality was something really new in the death metal-scene back then and also Spiritual Healing's intelligent, non-gore lyrics were something quite spectacular.

Spiritual Healing is a great album from master of tech death band

이것이 진정 내가 원했던 데쓰메탈에 가장 근접하다. 기타가 열일하며 탄탄한 리듬워크가 발군이다. Chuck 은 진정한 신이 내린 뮤지션이었다. living montrosity, spiritual healing, genetic reconstruction 를 좋게 들었다.

I prefer this to the previous two, oddly enough. More melodic, the riffs are top class, the vocals are great and the lyrics are a huge improvement to some of the nonsense on the previous albums.

Can't pick between this one and Leprosy which is best so they both get 95 rating.

다소 화려해져서 오히려 매력이 반감되는 사운드. 전작들에서는 돌도끼로 내려찍는 듯한 원시적인 힘이 있었다면, 본작은 형형색색 화려한 술이 달린 방천화극을 휘두르는 듯한 맛이 납니다. 이것대로 나름의 매력이 있는것 같긴 한데 개인적 취향으로는 그렇게 맛있지는 않네요. 커버이미지의 의미심장함은 듣기 전과 들은 후가 전혀 다른 내용으로 다가옵니다.

다른 분들은 뭐 수다를 떨거나 마사지를 받거나 하실지도 모르겠습니다만, 일단 우리의 'Spiritual Healing'은 이겁니다

데스의 앨범중 가장 작곡력부터 모든 면이 다좋은 앨범이다 하긴 데스의 앨범 중에서 버릴게 없긴하지만 이건 그중에서 가장 좋다

좋은 곡들이 많으나 개성은 없다.

핑크옷 입으신 할머니는 칼을 들고 있는 줄 알았다. 나중에 성경책임을 알고 든 생각은 딱히 칼이랑 차이가 없겠다는 것이었당.

흥분되기보단 차분해진다 잘때들으면 딱이다

사실 리프가 처지고 그 처지는게 분위기를 만드는 게 아니지만 그렇다 해도 사진만 가지고 판단하는 것은 매우 우둔하다.

그저 좋다는 말로는 부족하다. 작곡력과 구성면에서 전작만큼이나 뛰어난 사운드를 들려준다.

Wow! Such a turn around compared the previous records Death made.

This album gets me spiritually healed.

뭐 전작이랑 크게 다를 바 없이 양질의 데스메탈을 들려주신다.

정신적 힐링이 되는 앨범. 버릴 곡이 없다.

가만 듣다보면 내가 이걸 왜 듣고있는지 의문을 품게된다. 앨범사진이 시사하는바가 크다.

Death는 모든 앨범이 명반이라지만 이것은 그 중에서도 뛰어난 앨범.
