Something you might call weirdo metal. A very cult group that gets some claim to being an early prog band. Some of the compositions are really good, but many of them don't seem to go anywhere. Apr 1, 2020

Rage is off to a good start. Very Thrashy Speed Metal here. The quality jumps around a bit, but when it's great, it hits the right spots. Apr 1, 2020

It isn't a Speed Metal masterpiece, but some of the guitar-work is really good, and the faster songs are great. When it slows down, it exposes the weakness in their song craft. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 95/100
An absolute masterpiece of early Progressive Metal. It was not what I was expecting, and it took time to grow on me, but the almost poppy melodies and choruses are melded perfectly into proggy metal passages and plenty of lush keys are interspersed throughout. Every song is fantastic, even that bizarre cover. Apr 1, 2020

Very primitive and punky Thrash. Some good tracks and dark atmosphere, but most of it is very amateur. Apr 1, 2020

This just doesn't do anything for me. The material is slow and boring, it wanders without going anywhere. The vocals are also really grating. Apr 1, 2020

I have trouble calling this the worst of Ozzy's first four, but it's definitely got more filler than most of the others. Despite that, it also has some really strong material - most notably the amazing Shot in the Dark. Apr 1, 2020

Kind of an obscure Thrash album that some will swear by. It definitely does it's job, delivering punky rhythms and fairly long and complex songs full of evil riffs. Apr 1, 2020

Omen keep up their constant speedy assault, but take a step deeper in the pool of melody. These songs either have energetic, crunchy riffs, or sweeping, catchy choruses. Unfortunately not often both, but a great effort nonetheless. Apr 1, 2020

At this point, it was Motorhead's heaviest album. Chunky riffs and a mostly constant speed puts this a notch above their other stuff. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 40/100
Really basic Industrial with some elements of Metal and Synthpop, wouldn't call this full Industrial Metal. Not much in the way of melody or interest factor. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 95/100
A masterclass example of how to combine fantastic Thrash riffs with more commercial Heavy Metal. Just an amazing album in terms of songwriting ability. Apr 1, 2020

It's not Power Metal, but it is expertly crafted, energetic and slightly progressive Heavy Metal of the highest order. Manilla's best! Apr 1, 2020

Loudness take a more commercial approach, but they don't lose an inch of their songwriting ability. The music is great... and that album cover rules! Apr 1, 2020

Intense, aggressive, abrasive Thrash. Very fast, very heavy, very good. The best of the Teutonic Thrash albums of it's time. Apr 1, 2020

Judas Priest go Glam! And it's not that bad. Most of the songs consist of boring vocal lines, uninspired riffs and amazing guitar solos, but tracks like Out in the Cold and Reckless are classic Priest bangers. Apr 1, 2020

Helstar upped their game from their relatively standard debut, this one faster and heavier. Overall just better stuff. Apr 1, 2020

This one gets a lot of flak, but to me it sounds the same as the previous couple albums. Pretty mediocre metal. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 70/100
Rather sub-par metal from Grave Digger. A couple great songs, but a couple duds as well. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 75/100
Very bizarre and unique release by the guys from Virgin Steele that ends up being one of the heaviest albums of it's time! Speed and Thrash with growls akin to Blackened Death. Kind of pointless concept theme going on but it's a crazy release either way. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 75/100
A step down from their previous releases, but there are still some very solid riffs to be found here. Decent Speed Metal. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 80/100
Slower, perhaps more technical, but certainly not more entertaining than their debut. Their sound did become more unique here, but I prefer their more straightforward, faster style personally. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 85/100
Great debut of the slightly technical band Destruction. Mostly straightforward Thrash here, but it's well done and rather melodic. Apr 1, 2020

Another good Heavy Metal release lead by Chastain, but nothing extraordinary. Apr 1, 2020

Cirith Ungol develop some of their potential and deliver and more convincing album, with stronger vocals and riffs. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 75/100
Still a strong release with good riffs and vocals, but I find it much weaker than the debut. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 65/100
Not bad, but nothing extraordinary here. It doesn't really sound like Sabbath because it was supposed to be Tommi's solo album, but taken as such it can be enjoyed as a more mainstream effort. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 80/100
Very good melodic Heavy Speed Metal, right up there with Loudness. A bit faster and rawer than their contemporaries. Apr 1, 2020
SilentScream213 90/100
The musicianship is phenomenal. It's far less evil sounding than most Thrash, with liberal Speed Metal influence, but the riffs are just so good. Not a single song without constantly solid music. Apr 1, 2020

May 10, 2024

1990년도에 대체 무슨 일이 있었길래... rust in peace, painkiller, spiritual healing, cowboys from hell까지... May 7, 2024

May 10, 2024

May 10, 2024

May 5, 2024

May 12, 2024

May 18, 2024
