An absolute masterpiece of early Progressive Metal. It was not what I was expecting, and it took time to grow on me, but the almost poppy melodies and choruses are melded perfectly into proggy metal passages and plenty of lush keys are interspersed throughout. 드디어 이들의 약점이었던 절제된 기타솔로가 어느정도 해금되었습니다. 지난 앨범도 만족스러웠는데 역시나 이번에도 실망하지 않게 해주네요. 나이가 들어감에 따라 내가 좋아하는 밴드들도 하나둘씩 늙어가고 멤버들도 세상을 떠나는 걸 보니 매우 슬프네요. 반덴플라스는 계속 음악활동 왕성히 해주었으면 좋겠습니다   May 8, 2024

천재라 불렸던 자들은 진짜 총기가 불을 뿜는 때가 있다. 이시절의 나가쉬가 그랬다. 전작과 너무 다른 이앨범으로 전작에 버금가는 놀라운 사운드를 만들어냈다. 일렉트로니카와 익스트림을 섞어 부대찌개처럼 절묘한 융합의 새로운 맛을 냈다. 이렇게 세기말을 통과했던 이들은 너무 빨리 미래로 넘어갔다. 25년이 넘어도 여전히 미래적이다.   May 14, 2024

개인적으로 이 앨범을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는다. 이 앨범이야 말로 방향성이 애매했던 프로듀싱과 작곡으로 생각보다 안좋네 라고 생각했던 앨범. 물론 메탈 갓이 주다스의 시그니쳐로 쓰이기는 한데 이 곡도 애매하다. 브레이킹 더 로나 리빙도 맘에 안들고 물론 관중과 싱어롱할때는 좋긴 하다고 생각은 하지만 말이다. 75-80점.6번 8번이 의외로 좋다.   May 8, 2024

만약 "드림시어터"의 음악으로 본 다면 이 앨범은 DT중 가장 쳐지고 가벼운 음반이 될 것이다, 만약 드림시어터의 "음악"으로 본 다면 이 앨범은 재즈,블루스 등을 잘 버무려 본인들만의 스타일을 접목시켜 만들어낸 이색적인 작품이 될 것이다. 물론 호불호가 당연히 있을것이다. 하지만 이 앨범은 망작이라는 평가를 받기에는 수려한 곡들이 가득가득 들어차있다.   May 18, 2024
