Imaginations from the Other Side Comments

피를 토할듯한 한지의 보컬은 인상적. 다만 Blind Guardian은 3집과 4집만으로 충분하다고 생각됨.

Imaginations from the Other Side was Blind Guardian's biggest departure at the time from their original Speed Metal roots. The songwriting on the album is absolutely superb, despite going in different direction, than we were used to. The synths and big choruses were gaining prominence, as was an increasing shift towards Power Metal.

perfekte Symbiose aus den rauen Metal der Anfangszeit und den späteren epischen Momenten. Eines der besten Metal Alben die ich kenne.

blind guardian 최고앨범 전곡이 다좋다. 플레밍라스무센의 영향 때문인지 보컬과 사운드에 힘이 넘친다. 너무 과하게 멋부린 Middle-Earth 앨범보다 훨좋다.

Another 90's classic album

An incredible exercize in hardcore energy and progressive structures. The only flaw is that too many songs share the same power metal tempo that Emerald Sword and Through the Fire and the Flames are known for.

Such a great album and another masterpiece from this band. Many consider it as their best one but I'm not one of those, and what is more, I reckon SFB, NiME and ANATO are better than this.

Blind Guardian의 다섯번째 앨범입니다. 한지 퀴르시의 보컬은 이제까지의 작품 중 가장 힘이 넘칩니다. 기량정점의 보이스에 에너지가 가득합니다. 사실 정통적인 유러피안 파워메탈이기는하나 늘 편곡 방향이 제 취향에 맞지 않는 밴드인데, 작곡이니 편곡이니 개인적인 취향 뭐 그런 점들이 다 덮어지는 강력한 보컬입니다. 목에 세워진 핏대와 힘줄이 연상되네요.

전반적인 작풍과 분위기는 여전하지만 전작들보다 더 깔끔하고 세련되게 다듬었다는 점이 눈에 띈다. 빈틈 없이 몰아치는 부분은 빡빡하게 느껴지기도 한다. 이 앨범 전후를 아무리 살펴봐도 이만큼 완벽한 앨범이 드물다. 넘치는 힘, 드라마틱하고 장중한 멜로디의 균형과 조화는 너무나도 훌륭하다.

블라인드 가디언은 모든 디스코그라피가 상향평준화 되어있는 진정한 장인 그룹인데, 본작은 특히 그 최정점에 위치해있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 이들의 무르익은 창작력과 응집력이 메탈리카의 프로듀서를 만나서 제대로 발휘된 명작. 엄청난 파워와 서정성의 중세 판타지를 만끽할수 있다.

파워메탈 음반 중에 유일무이하게 만족하며 들은 앨범

A Night At the Opera 전까지 블라인드 가디언의 전집이 리마스터링 됬는데 음질이 정말 좋다. 멜로딕한 파워 메탈의 전형이자 교과서 같은 앨범. 특유의 중세적 분위기는 여전하지만, 가사를 보면 시공을 오가는 테마를 보여준다.

I bought this almost solely because of the amazing cover. What a great album cover!

사운드의 응집력이 좋아진 느낌이다. 파워도 배가되고, 송라이팅도 훨씬 나아진 모습이다. 개인적으로 뽑는 킬링트랙 Mordred's Song.

답답한 사운드가 단점이라면 단점

완성도는 높으나 답답한 사운드 때문에 잘 안듣게 되는 앨범

이름값하는 파워메탈

헬로윈표 파워메탈? 이들은 블라인드 가디언이다. 판타스틱함과 박력넘치는 이들의 시원시원한 행진은 거침이 없다.

블가표 앨범. 강하다

메탈리카 프로듀서로 유명한 플레밍 라스무센이 본작도 프로듀싱 했었음. 이무렵에 플레밍 라스무센이 내한 했었는데 자기 사운드의 비밀은 드럼이라고 이야기 했었음. 3,7 주요곡이고 개인적으로 4,9도 좋아함. 5는 한지가 개인적으로 좋아한다고 밝힌곡

최고의 멜로딕 파워메탈 앨범. 파워도 있고 적당히 달려도 주고 다른애들 같이 동요틱하지 않다

한지가 본격적으로 폭발하기 시작했다. 가끔보이던 중세분위기가 메인으로 자리잡기시작.
