일단 메탈로 구분하기는 불가능한 앨범이다. 프로그레시브도 아니다.
여러모로 첫 접근이 매우 용이한 앨범으로 거의 메인스트림 브리티쉬 락의 사운드를 들려주기도 한다. 그러나 앨범이 진행됨에 따라 듣는이를 환각시키는 이들 특유의 분위기가 발현되며 특히 이 앨범의 가사는 내 인생에서 겪은 가사 중 최고 중 하나라고 단언할 수 있다.
극한의 절망에서 무언가 모를 희망으로 끝나는 과정동안 수많은 생각을 하게 하는 작품이다. 너무나도 멋진 앨범이다.

Good album by Anathema, but previous four albums are still better

A great album, but particularly worth it for the mesmerizing, emotionally gripping closer, "Temporary Peace," which remains one of the best songs out there.

다른 의미로 메탈에서 완전이 벗어난 앨범. 평범하게 들을만한 '락' 이 이후로 이런 느낌의 앨범은 내주지 않았는데 참 다행인것같다.
