"I'm hardly unbiased in talking about this opus. It was the most-played album when I was an undergraduate. Leprous is one of the brightest constellations in progressive metal. Mixing varied musical elements into a harmonious form is one of the charming features of that genre. Leprous have done it meticulously in this album. The Pain of Salvation-esque songwriting style and the melody-making calibre for crafting ethereal beauty via the fantastic vocal works are breathtaking."
