Mirage

It's a great album that offers most of the features that black metal fans are looking for. It's probably the best album so far in Gaerea's career. The vocal works express emotive brutality with vicious rawness in a brilliant way. All tracks are well-composed by a great musicianship, proving that Gaerea have devoted themselves to delving into the aesthetics of black metal. Their real masterpiece will come next time if they keep and develop their musicality.

요새 유행하는 스타일의 슬럿지 메탈느낌이 큼. 풍부한 사운드 레이어와 박진감 넘치는 분위기가 훌륭. 본 앨범을 좋아한다면, Dystopia (네덜란드 밴드)의 "Geen Weg Uit"라는 앨범 추천.

2022년 최고의 앨범... 인줄 알았는데...

엄청 잘 만들었는데, 개인적으로 블랙매탈만큼은 품질보단 감성으로 생각한다. 깔끔하고 연주 좋은데, 듣는 내내 사악함이리던지 블랙 특유의 감정, 비장미 등을 느낄수는 없었다. 취향이 변한 걸수도 있지만 그 옛날 블랙메탈 밴드들에 비하면 느낌이 아쉽다.

블랙메탈의 현대적발전을 목도할때는 언제나 즐겁다

무쳤음ㄷㄷㄷ 거의 부밍에 가까운 묵직하고 깊게 깔린 베이스와 공간감을 한껏 살린 기타와 드럼으로 만들어 낸 끝없이 넓은 어둠. 그리고 그 어둠을 향해 절규하는 듯한 보컬에 압도돼 간만에 그 분을 영접하고야 말았다. 여튼 코멘 존내 달고 싶었는데 이틀 동안 메킹이 먹통이었음...ㅠㅜ

밴드에게도 커리어 하이급인(이라고하기엔 앨범이 몇장없넹), 올해 신보들 사이에서도 단연 주목할만한 수작^ㅇ^

Are you ready for a very polished hi-fi commercial recording studio sound on a black metal album? The songwriting is very strong. It doesn't have the same aura as the usual gritty fuzzy and crackling tones. As long as you can tolerate the cleanliness, I recommend this one.
