great Melodic Death Metal with Black influences. The much harder side of the band than in later or better known times, but still high quality

데뷔앨범이 Slayer 풍의 묵직한 둠데스라면, 이 앨범은 테크니컬 데스 스타일로 Athiest, Arcturus 등과 흡사하며, Paradox의 Heresy앨범을 데스메탈로 만든 듯도. 프로그레시브 메탈 + 블랙 메탈 + 데스메탈의 짬뽕으로 아직까지는 사운드가 정립되지 않아 이것저것 다 해보는 느낌. 재기발랄한 리프도 종종 귀에 들리지만 전체적으로 아직 미숙함.

Fantastic Melodic Death Metal! Sentenced go from an awesome OSDM album to awesome Melodeath without issue. Every track is great and full of riffs.

이 1993년의 2집은 순수 데스메탈이라기보다는 멜로딕 데스로의 중간점에 서 있는 앨범이지만 그렇다고 해서 이 사운드가 어디에도 맞아 떨어지지 못하는 과도기적 사운드라고 할 수 없다. 오히려 양 방향 모두 충족시키는 완성형 사운드이며, 개인적으로는 멜로딕 데스란 이렇게 했어야 했다는 생각마저 들 정도.
