마지막으로 대지를 활보하던 공룡이 쓰러진 자리에 더 이상 남은 것이 아무것도 없다고 여겼을 때, 후세의 학자들은 그 쓰러진 자리에서 화석을 발견하게 된다. 그리고 그 장대한 크기의 화석은 수많은 후인들에게 큰 영향을 미치게 되었다. 고대로부터 이어지는 용에 대한 전설들, 그리고 용을 기리는 창작들은 거기서부터 시발을 찾을 수 있으리라는 것이 개인적인 추측이다. Queensryche는 그런 화석 중 하나였다. 모두가 기리는 거대한 창작의 원천이 되는 화석, 그리고 화석이기 때문에 다시는 돌아올 수 없는 거대한 과거의 유산이라고 모두가 생각했다.
그런 그들이 Geoff Tate라는 거물까지도 해고해 가며 발표한 앨범이 [Queensryche]라는 이름의 셀프 타이틀 앨범이었고, 이 앨범을 통해 그들은 자신이 더 이상 화석이 아니라 살아 움직이는 현재진행형의 유산임을 포효하듯 선언했다. 그리고 그 후속 앨범인 [Condition Human]은 그들이 자신의 찬란했던 과거에 바치는 헌정이라고 할 수 있을 그런 앨범이다. My 1108th most played album. Queensrÿche - Condition Hüman. The fourteenth studio album was released on October 2, 2015. Peaked at #27 on billboard's top album list, #5 Top Rock Albums chart, amazing for a metal band in the new century! Old school, reinvigorated and back to the roots is what best describes this great new album shooting up fast on my most played list headed for the top 500 for sure! Who would think losing Geoff Tate would bring back the great old sound? vocalist Todd La Torre sounds great. All 5 members of the band are writing songs. "Arrow of Time" was released as an early single.

전작, 셀프타이틀의 부활작은, 보여줘야지 맘먹어서 스트레이트한 느낌으로 팍팍 꽂힌다면, 본작 컨디션 휴먼은, 퀸스라이크 초기 마인드크라임 시절로 돌아간 듯한 느낌이다. 여유있는 완급조절과 프로그레시브적 구성이 더해져, 더욱 본래 퀸스라이크 다워졌지만, 그렇기에 전작처럼 캐치하게 꽂히지는 않는다. 밴드 특유의 세련됨이 묻어나는 수작.

묵직하면서도 약간은 익숙한 사운드로 퀸즈라이크 부활의 신호탄을 쐈던 전작에 이어서 파워풀함은 가져가되 전성기 시절의 신선하고 부드러운 진행도 되찾아 가는 모습이다. 87점.

Condition Hüman is the second Queensrÿche album with new singer Todd La Torre. The album is full of great songwriting, good melodic metal riffs, soaring vocals & widdly guitar solos. There is no doubt that Queensrÿche has a bright future so long as they continue to fill their Progressive / Heavy Metal roots.

predošlé (priamočiarejšie a tvrdšie) album sa mi páčilo o niečo viac, ale aj toto album je kvalitné, viac pohybujúce sa v prog./heavy metale a trochu aj melodickom rocku

터질듯 안터질듯 애간장을 태우는 곡들. 결국은 뭔가 과거의 안좋은 시절로 회귀하고있는 느낌이 드는것 같아 불안하다. 2013년도 앨범에 그나마 남아있던 역량을 다 쏟아붙고 창의력이 고갈되어 버린것인가?
