Alice Cooper is one of music's true legends. For those that have followed Alice's career from the start to the present, you know that he is actually a diverse artist who is capable of mixing in various styles with his hard rock and glam rock sound. You also know Alice always surrounds himself with top notch players.

Alice with the help of legendary producer Bob Ezrin made the decision during the pandemic to create something that was intended to be a good straight up hard rock album. Alice has said in interviews he wanted something that had that Detroit hard rock sound. Quickly Alice and Ezrin realized they should use mainly Detroit musicians on the album and it totally worked. Detroit Stories rocks with a few Detroit band covers and several original songs including the excellent $1000 High Heel Shoes.

I love this album and my only complaint is that Ezrin could have let the musicians rock out just a little more. Still I love this album. Alice has done it again!

I like my music vintage sounding and the Coop accomplished that in a major league way. There isn't a bad song on this album. When it comes to consistency Alice is one of the few that still has it.

Amazing how great this album is, and even more amazing if compared to what other early rock artists are releasing these days. I was laughing and smiling and bouncing to the music for the whole album. Drunk and in Love is pure genius, and everything else is brilliant too.

Good fun tribute to Detroit hard rock where Alice is originally from. I consider this a candidate for album of the year.

The Coop's nod to the great U.S. hard rocking city, Detroit. So many great hard rock bands have come out of Detroit.

This album is a tribute to the city of Detroit which is kind of the home of U.S. hard rock. Really good album.
