포스트데쓰? Rivers of Nihil 입니다. 테데의 길에 자신만의 색채를 더욱 짙게 드리우는 앨범인데 전반적인 느낌이 강/약 템포 변화만 까딱 거리는 색채가 강한 편입니다. 오히려 다음을 기대?해도 좋다는 듯히 뉘앙스를 살짝 남기는데 그건 백킹보컬과의 거리를 촘촘히 다녀놓은건데 기타/ 베이스를 병렬로 나눠서 레코딩 그 자체로는 훌륭하고 너무 묻히지 않아서 좋은데 보컬파트의 간격을 유연성을 탔으면 하는 바램이 적지 않았지만 이들의 과거 앨범과 비교한다면 오우!?

자신의 색체를 드러내기 시작한 앨범. 구성이나 테크닉 독특함 등 모든 면에서 전작보다 일보 전진했다. 앞으로의 발전이 기대되는 수작.

Rivers of Nihil concentrate on creating apocalyptic atmosphere than boasting their technique. Monarchy can be a bit dull who wants blasting beats and enormous amount of shredding. I liked it btw.

테크니컬 데스 메탈 그룹인데 어찌 된게 포스트-메탈 스타일인 연주곡 Terrestria II: Thrive이 제일 좋다. 아예 이 방향으로 나가면 좋겠다.
