I wasn't too impressed with this one. Amorphis have lost all their edge at this point, playing Prog Metal that isn't that proggy, and slightly Folky at times. It's good, but their Death Metal is better.

This was sterile safe and boring compared to every single project before it. I was not a fan they completely abandoned their roots on this one and not in any kind of good way.

A lot less Death Metal ish compared to the predecessors. Without the awesome melody aspect this album would be a dud, but that simple touch adds a whole lot to the deal.
