브레이크만 거는 조금은 실망스럽네요. Immolation의 4집 입니다. 이 앨범이 약간 완급조절 위주로 그루브 하게 전개되는 사운드의 전초전 성격이 있는 앨범 입니다. 몇가지 단점으로 본다면 자꾸 딱딱하게 전개되는 드럼파트는 뭔가 전형적인 색채에 다른 구성을 맞춰볼려는 시도는 좋으나 엇 비슷하면서 난해하기만 하고 오히려 짜임새 있게 맞출려면 드럼이 잡아주는 것도 아니고 어정쩡한 완성도 탓에 딱히 산만한건 어쩔수 없는듯 싶네요. 그나마 보이스의 한결같은 모습 하나는 여전하네요.

Aww yeah! The crazy heavy tone and deathvocals generate a crazy heavy atmosphere , contributing to an evil, or even satanic sound. This is how DM should be done. I think this is Immolation's strongest work.

해외 리뷰에서는 이 앨범을 Immolation 최고의 음반으로 꼽고 있습니다. 전작이나 이후작과 비교해보더라도 떨어지지 않습니다. 꾸준한 퀄리티에 명곡이 많이 포진되어 있습니다.
