독일출신 바이킹메탈밴드 Finsterforst (영어로는 Dark Forest) 의 2집앨범 ...zum Tode hin (죽음을 향하여). 이들 특유의 호쾌하면서도 장엄한 바이킹메탈을 들려주었던 1집보다 더욱 발전된 사운드를 들려주고 있으며 곡 길이도 10분이상의 대곡지향적인 모습을 보여주고 있는데 대곡에서 느낄 수 있을 법한 미흡한 완급조절, 곡의 지루한 전개 따위는 이들에겐 전혀 문제가 되지 않는 듯하다. 오히려 곡이 길어짐에 따라서 더욱 다양해진 연주와 풍성해진 악곡으로 인해 앨범의 완성도는 한층 업그레이드 되었으며 밴드의 감초역할인 아코디언을 맡고있는 Johannes Joseph 의 활약도 인상적이다. 특히 앨범의 대미를 장식하고있는 Untergang 이라는 20분 가량되는 대곡은 이들 최고의 명곡이라고 생각될만큼 굉장히 다이나믹하며 극적인 구성이 돋보이는 곡이다.
