제프 워터스는 영 보컬과는 인연이 없는지, 이 앨범까지 매번 보컬을 바꾸더니 다음 앨범부터는 그야말로 원맨밴드짓을 했다.
전작까지 기세등등하게 올라가던 어나이얼레이터는 이 앨범으로 날개가 꺾이면서 졸지에 마이너(? 원래 메이저는 아니었지만) 스러워져 버렸다. 전형적인 제프 워터스스러운 곡으로 시작하지만, 중간에 템포 조절에 실패하면서 이도저도 아닌 이상한 음반이 되었다. 그래서 아쉬워하면서도 King of the Kill이 발매되었을 때에도 널름 샀었을 정도로, 완전히 파워가 떨어진 구닥다리 쇼를 보이고 있진 않다.
11번 커버가 제법 매력적이다.

상당히 잘 뽑힌 스레쉬 메탈 앨범입니다. 스레쉬 메탈이지만 스피드로 밀어부치는 스타일이 아니라 적당한 완급 조절이 돋보이는 앨범이라고 봅니다.

Annihilator sú na hudobnej scéne od roku 1984 pričom zažili slávnejšie časy, ako aj menej podarené. Hlavne začiatky mali výborné a sú nezmazateľné vpísané do metalovej histórie.
