Ruthless na albume "The Fallen" ponúkajú starú školu Heavy Metal -u s občasnými prvkami Power. Hudba, ako aj štýl piesní dosť čerpá z NWOBHM, pričom ani sa nedá čudovať, keďže kapela vznikla v roku 1982 a prvé album vydala v roku 1986 (plus EP dva roky dopredu, čiže v r. 1984). Nie je to nič prevratné, ale ako pripomienka starých časov tradičného metal -u je to celkom podarené.
