우리가 익히 알던, 그리고 우리가 바라던 Gorod의 모습 그 자체. 5년만의 귀환이 반가운 밴드이다. 건조하지만 깔끔한 보컬과 기타 톤, 스포츠카를 타고 달리는듯한 시원한 속주와 그 뒤로 자연스럽게 이어지는 오프스피드 리프, 그리고 가장 중요한 아이덴티티라고 할 수 있는 곡을 재생하는 내내 우리를 홀리듯 현란하고 자로 잰 듯 정확한 기타 연주까지. 거기다가 한 단계 더 발전한 음질도 즐거움을 주는 요소 중 하나다. 전작의 믹싱도 깔끔하고 선명하다고 생각했는데, 이 앨범을 듣고 다시 들으니 텁텁하다고 느껴질 정도로 날 선 믹싱이 기타의 노트 하나하나도 놓치지 않고 들을 수 있도록 도와준다. 뛰어난 멜로디도 단연 일품이다.

Gorod na albume "The Orb" kombinujú Technický Death Metal s typickým agresívnym Death Metal -om. Časť piesní je rýchlejších, ukričanejších a akoby útočnejších, časť je technickejších s rôznými vyhrávkami a riffmi. Štýl growlingu/revu mne moc nesedel. Nie je to úplne zlé, ale nie je to ani môj vkus metalovej hudby.

The tech death parts are not quite for me, but yes they're very good - the playing is so precise. The prog parts really stole my heart with that complexity and those melodies. Absolute masters are at work here.
