I discovered the band through this album. I think this album has a progressive metal touch that makes me like it even more. It's almost perfect, only losing out to its successor.

선 굵은 파워메탈이다. 둘이 어떻게 의기투합했는지가 제일 궁금했었다. 가사 내용은 실낙원, 아더왕 등에서 영감을 받은 듯.

This is a dark masterpiece, it stands in time nearly flawless... I just wish it had really really good production; but part of the lesser production gives the album charm especially during the chant moments and great layering by Hansi

사운드는 나무랄데 없지만, 작곡측면에서 보면 이건 Blind Guardian도 아니고 Iced Earth도 아닌 어딘지 어정쩡한 곡들이라 확 끌어당기는 매력이 부족. 그래도 Blind Guardian 느낌이 강한 'Blood on My Hands', 'Fiddler on the Green'이나, Iced Earth 분위기의 'Gallow's Pole' 같은 곡들은 무척 좋음.

존 샤퍼와 한지 퀴르시다. 한지의 보이스는 역시 아이스드 얼스 식의 헤비메탈에도 딱 들어맞는다. 작법 또한 더욱 잘 어울리게 블라인드 가디언 식의 파워메탈과 동화시켰다. 조금 더 강력한 블라인드 가디언이라고 할 수 있다. 그게 잘 어울리기까지 하니, 파워메탈 필청 앨범이라 할 수 있겠다.
