Sleepless encumbrance of the mind
Staring at blood stains on her thighs
Vivid dreams of a fetal death
Gruesome images fill her head
The sound of an infant crying
A nightmare she tries denying
Cut from the womb severed alive
Quivers of pain screaming inside

Denied from light fading of breath
Pierced through the skull insured of death
Mother cringes in regretful shame
Vomiting intestinal pain
Passing of time growing more ill
