This album is half & half for me. The first 2 songs just don't work well; the elements feel just wrong together. I was pleased to discover how much better the second 2 songs are. It would be a shame to waste that brilliant album cover if the music was not so good, with that shocking black logo looking so profound against that false-night photograph. 5 really distinct tracks. The 1st half of track is a lot more exciting than the 2nd half of it. That's the most negative thing I can say about this album. Funny Dvne's album came out on the same day. Usually something as good as this High on Fire record would be the pick of the day. It's all really good and I feel it all throughout my body. You'll also find it goes into Sleep territory at the end. A great journey of an album.   Apr 21, 2024

This band now has 3 master-tier albums, and they've only released 3 albums. I like softer projects like Lustre and Basarabian Hills, but this album feels like it's missing something without enough blackened element in there. 리치가 베이스를 1–3, 6를 연주했다. 그 외의 스튜디오는 밥 데이즐리 연주. 어렸을 때에는 1,5를 굉장히 좋아했었는데 문제는 5를 라센 시기에는 듣질 못했었다. 지금은 오히려 4번 같은 곡이 애청곡이 되었다. 앨범으로 기준으로도 1,2집보다 더 좋아했던 기억이 있다. 8번은 역시나 디오의 또 다른 보컬 맛을 느끼기 좋은 곡. 디오 재적시의 앨범은 영원할 것 같다.   Apr 20, 2024

3인조 코로너의 전 앨범 특히 2,3,4집을 좋아합니다. 옛날에 3집을 LP로 구입했었는데 속지에 시계, 스위스, 큰 글자로 '그로테스크' 라고 적힌 기억이.. 이후 90년대 중후반에 걸쳐서 전 앨범을 시디로 하나씩 모았죠. 30년간 신보를 안 내고 재결성 후에 아직도 활동하는 것도 특이한데, 그만큼 고정팬들이 많다는거 거겠죠.   Apr 25, 2024

개인적으로 이 앨범을 그렇게 좋아하지 않는다. 이 앨범이야 말로 방향성이 애매했던 프로듀싱과 작곡으로 생각보다 안좋네 라고 생각했던 앨범. 물론 메탈 갓이 주다스의 시그니쳐로 쓰이기는 한데 이 곡도 애매하다. 브레이킹 더 로나 리빙도 맘에 안들고 물론 관중과 싱어롱할때는 좋긴 하다고 생각은 하지만 말이다. 75-80점.6번 8번이 의외로 좋다.   May 8, 2024
