이 밴드의 이전 앨범을 들어본 적이 없어서 기대치를 최대한 낮춘 채로 들어봤는데... 1번 트랙에서부터 왜 평이 좋은지 알 것 같았다.

šieste album "Charcoal Grace" od austrálčanov Caligula's Horse ponúka kombináciu Prog. Metal/Rock -u s kvalitným zvukom, hudobnými výkonmi, ako aj s príjemným melodickým spevom.

듣다가 흥분해서 이런 평가가 나만의 것인지 확인하려고 메탈킹덤에 들어왔다. 3-6번 트랙을 연속으로 감상해 보시라. 빡센 젠트 느낌이라기보다는 세련되어진 정통 프록메탈의 향기가 물씬남.

전작에서 물 위에 뜬 기름 처럼 겉돌던 젠트 요소를 줄이고 프록메탈 비중을 높히면서 비로소 자리를 잡은 듯 하지만, 결과적으로 빡센 하켄이 되어버린 건 타고난 보컬과 멜로디의 색채 때문이려나; 여튼 전작 부터 뛰어났던 프로듀싱과 믹싱도 강회되어 최상급의 듣는 재미는 덤.
