Counting our losses, selling us safety and calling it progress.

Blind us to what we've become.

We built ourselves a system, a pure and perfect vision,
With all our best intentions for a better world.
We made it in our image, merciless and unforgiving,
And far too late we realised that we had erred.
For what we built was a lie,
Corrupted by its very nature and design.
A shining symbol of our flaws and failures,
