The songwriting is very good, and the harsh vocals are some of the best harsh vocals in recent months. The pure evil in that voice kept me enthralled for 53 minutes. Quite a gem here.

This is the debut album of the Welsh atmospheric black metal outfit, which made me have high hopes for a quality metal release after watching the official video of 'Grains of Sand' in June. Unfortunately, the rest of the album is a bit of a disappointment. The remaining tracks have the shortcomings that new bands in the scene usually have in the nascence of their career: obscurity. In other words, the flattened structure without depth in sound.
