According to The Infallible Denizens of RateYourMusic Dot Com, as of writing this review in the early winter of January 2026, “Boris at Last -Feedbacker-” is the *checking charts* 13th greatest Metal album of all time, and if recent years are anything to judge by, still rising.
Here’s what I can tell you. Is this album one of the top 13 Boris albums of all time? Yeah, probably. Out of the ones I’ve heard, it’s easily one of their better albums, but they have like 69 albums so I can’t say for sure yet. Is it one of the top 13 Drone Metal albums of all time? Well, again, this album is labeled as a Drone Metal album by The Infallible Denizens of RateYourMusic Dot Com despite not having a single Drone Metal song on it, so, no, but if it counts, then it would possibly have a fair shot.
Boris at Last -Feedbacker- is inoffensive. It’s decent background noise. It does feature one guitar solo that is actually quite good. It features zero good riffs. It features zero interesting drumming, but the hypnotic, repetitive drumming on “Untitled” (2) works in the song’s favor. It features some vocals, but they aren’t special in any way, and most of the time they aren’t there. It probably features bass, but it didn’t do anything interesting. 이건 진짜 명반이다 모든 트랙이 한곡으로 이뤄지는데 우울하고 절망적인 느낌으로 몽환적인 분위기를 잡다가 2번트랙 후반부터 우울함에 미쳐 사회를 원망하며 분노를 표출하는것처럼 노이즈와 함께 서서히 다이나믹을 높히다 보컬과 함께 터트린후 혼란스러운 기타 노이즈로 이어지다 점점 다시 우울한 느낌으로 내려간다

Don't worry; Wata survived the cover photo. That's good news because Boris is an absolute legend of a band for making top-tier music like this album, meticulously, thoughtfully, & with audible inspiration. The wobbling & popping distortion in the beginning is followed by 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' feeling stuff later on. In 5 minutes 40 minutes magically pass and then they wrap up like the pros they are. Fantastic.
