The Judgement to Come

With the church removed
And His spirit withdrawn
I know this isn't how you pictured it but "religion" is gone

This is the reward
For your decadence and rebellion
The seas will boil
The sky will be as ash
And the mountains themselves will be undone

Mercy now only a memory
A vacant hope
A fading comfort to all

Flee and find no shelter

Is this the apex of what they knew as evolution?
Survival of the fittest was a lie
As none are fit to see the glory of the Lamb
Those who remain and shall survive

And yet only live once
Unless you're born twice
And the only thing that's in your way is pride
It took one perfect life
To pay back the price
For every law I ever broke
And those words I spoke to shame Him

Let no man claim
Ignorance at what was coming
Eternity was written in our hearts

This is your chance
An all-access pass
To perfect love
But first you have to receive Him
It doesn't matter who you were or where you've been
Through Him you can escape
The judgement to come

The lamb you mocked cannot be found
Only the lion remains
The King has come to set His house in order
The world you knew will burn away

I bring not peace
But a sword

Now join the beast within the lake of fire
Your wicked ways and world will soon expire
