Great great great musicianship here. Some songs are not just top-tier but deeply inspired as well, whereas the others are in the plainly good zone. About the sub-genre, some people might hear straight black metal, and some might hear melancholic black metal, but I agree with BMP that it's mostly atmospheric BM due to the guitar melodies, arrangement, and tempos.
