I found the first two tracks less powerful than the rest of the album. Still, the bittersweet & heartbreaking flavors soaked into this music, and the huge dramatic resolutions make it more than worth it to listen to the whole thing. This is members of Fen with an album inspired by the fantasy novels of David Gemmell. The inspiration truly resulted in a good record.
