미국에서 2017년에 결성된 신인 밴드 Dialith입니다. 카멜롯 이후 천조국에서 이 정도의 심포닉 파워 메탈을 듣기는 처음입니다. 신인의 데뷔작임에도 음질, 사운드, 연주 면에서 흠이 없는 아주 깔끔한 사운드, 심포닉 파워 메탈의 두 축인 오케스트레이션과 밴드 연주의 밸런스가 기가 막히게 훌륭합니다. 타르야 투루넨의 하위호환 같은 느낌의 여성 보컬도, 메탈 밴드의 보컬로서 필요한 '힘'이 부족할 뿐, 부드럽고 편안한 목소리로 선율을 유려하게 이끌어 나갑니다. 데뷔작에서부터 멤버들은 구성력과 프로듀싱 역량에서 자신감을 보이고 있으며, 그 외에 프로듀서진에서도 경력있는 프로듀서인 Jacob Hansen, 오케스트레이션 편곡에 Fleshgod Apocalypse의 Francesco Ferrini 등이 참여하여 더욱 빛깔 나는 작품을 만드는 데 일조했습니다.
앞서서 카멜롯을 언급했는데, 카멜롯이 최종진화해서 보여줘야 했던 모습이 이 밴드의 데뷔작인 이 작품과 같은 것이 아닐까 생각될만큼 인상적이고 좋게 들은 작품입니다. 명작과 수작의 어느 한 가운데에 위치시킬만 합니다.
