This is their best album with every song an epic. All of their albums and EPs are good to great. Probably my favorite black metal band now as I love their epic Bathory/Immortalesque sound.

This is the best Deafheaven album which is pretty incredible to say 12 years after Sunbather and 10 years after New Bermuda but these guys have made a masterpiece that touches with a talon your heart and soul, exposing what is beneath the skin to harsh sunlight.

This is some upbeat power metal in the vein of a young Sonata Arctica or Stratovarius. The highlight of the album for me is My Epic Dragon which should inform you as to how serious the album is. The album closer is great and could be the theme song to your favorite anime.

Another fine effort from one of the all-time greats in power metal.

This is the greatest Iron Maiden album (it is a live compilation), one of the greatest live albums ever and a top 10 metal album of all time.

This was my first metal love so this is the sound I judge everything else by. This album is like if the magical sword Excalibur was an album, it has a finely honed edge and a magic exemplified in Orion. It has "it" like all the masterpieces do where you play it end to end loving every minute of it.

The greatest Metallica album of all time except when its the 2nd greatest Metallica album of all time, which can happen on occasion.

I love this album. The vocals are a slight step back but I don't listen to these guys for vocals anyway. These are great, epic jams that when I take to the stars I will pump these full volume across the cosmos.

This is peak Judas Priest. No album comes close since until the very recent Firepower.
