†1614 is a job that needed six years to finally reach our hands, is a disc with a majestic cast and like most works of this type begins with a little intro "Overture" which serves as a preamble to make way for the first great song of this album "The Gates", during just over than ten minutes will discover that this opera tells us the famous and known by almost all "story of Countess Elizabeth Bathory". Through songs like “Blood Countess Bathory” (Really a masterpiece), the darkened "The 13th Guest" or the powerful "Mythos Lamia" Adrian de Crow take us on a journey full of blood and terror perfectly decorated with the music written by David Grimoire, every detail has been cared and polished and the special guests make this disc a piece that can not miss in the collection of any headbanger which really enjoy the great power of Symphonic metal.
Dark and epic †1614 has a level very respectable among the most recent Metal Operas, certainly a highly recommended work.
